Suitable for those who already have a good working knowledge of common steps and formations in Scottish Country Dancing, this weekend will give you an opportunity to improve your technique, learn new dances and enjoy all social aspects of Scottish Country Dancing The course starts with dinner on Friday, and includes a wine reception on the Saturday and social dancing to recorded music on Friday evening and Saturday evening. The group will be divided into two classes each morning which will include technique and the finer points of steps and formations in dances old and new. During Saturday afternoon there will be an optional workshop or you could take the opportunity to relax in the grounds of the house or explore the nearby town of Ilminster. The course finishes after lunch on Sunday.
We are pleased and excited to announce that due to the new extension at Dillington adding more bedrooms and some wonderful studio space we are returning to our format of two teachers and musicians giving us the opportunity of introducing new faces as well as welcoming back some old friends.

Accommodation: Dillington House offers a range of accommodation in the Main House, the Mews and the new Hyde buildings. There are superior en suite bedrooms, which are more spacious, as well as smaller en suite bedrooms
